Obituary
Sean Brandon Samples

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 53.
Died 9/18/2025.

Mr. Sean Brandon Samples went to be with The Lord on Thursday, September 18th surrounded by his family in Raleigh. He was a brave fighter against cancer and always had a positive attitude and smile on his face. Sean was born on October 19th, 1971. He attended Sanderson High School and went on to attend Louisburg College and East Carolina University. He loved his Pirates and you could often see him wearing purple and gold. Sean had a very strong work ethic and was dedicated to his job as a Project Manager at Markraft Cabinets. Sean was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Martie, of 23 years. He adored his 3 children, Jolie, Cole, and Jace -- they were his greatest gifts. He was truly a man that based his life around his family and time spent together was the main priority. Family was his world and brought him so much joy. They loved to travel to the beach and to the mountains; Sean cherished this time together. He cared deeply for his friends as well. He enjoyed fishing and golf from time to time. Sean is preceded in death by his father, Larry Samples. Sean leaves behind his mother, Barbara Pittman; sister, Wendy Kuehn and husband, Kris. Sean was a wonderful uncle to their children, his niece and nephew Kady (husband Johnny) and Brandon. The biggest piece of his heart he leaves behind his his loving wife, Martie; his two daughters, Jolie and Jace; and his son, Cole. Sean's presence was a steady source of strength and comfort to all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. A service to honor Sean's life will take place on Sunday, October 5th at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3120 New Hope Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604 at 3pm. The family will host a visitation to receive friends and family at their home following the service.
