Sandra H. Barham

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 78.
Died 6/25/2025.

Sandra Haught Barham, 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on November 17, 1946 to her late father, James Haught and her surviving mother, Doris Haught (103). Sandra attended Garinger High School and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina upon marrying her first husband of 23 years, Chuck Cato. Upon their divorce, she married Don Barham and was married for 17 years. Sandra was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and then St James United Methodist Church until she moved to Sunbury, North Carolina. She lived in Louisburg and Charlotte before moving back to Raleigh for the remaining 9 years of her life. Sandra was an avid reader and an amateur artist, drawing for family members, friends and her own enjoyment. Sandra is survived by her 8 children; Jenny Jordan (John), Brenda LaRocco (Jim), Robert Cato (Sherrie), Marc Cato, Becky Adams (Ron), John Cato (Kelly Gomez), Matthew Barham, and Joshua Barham. Sandra is also survived by her 15 Grandchildren; Jamie "Jax" and Justin Jordan; Timothy, Jason and Kevin LaRocco; Casey and Cody (Mia) Cato; Marcus and Megan Cato; Sarah Hodges (Justin) and Erica Abushouk (Assir); Kya Cato; Savannah, Bentley, and Brooklynn Barham. Sandra is survived by her 10 Great Grandchildren as well. The viewing/visitation will be at City of Oaks Funeral Home and Cremation. The family will welcome extended family and friends for short visitations as it is a small chapel. Please contact the family directly for service information.
