He won several trophies playing in member/guest tournaments at North Ridge Country Club. While living in Augusta, he attended the Master’s tournament twice. When he finally had to give up golf due to poor eyesight, he enjoyed watching golf and his favorite sports teams. Bobby was very active in Open Table UMC, formerly Trinity UMC, where he grew up. He served as Chairperson of the Administrative Board, Finance Chairperson, and was on many committees. He worked with the youth and took them swimming and skiing. He also taught Adult Sunday School.
