Neil is survived by his wife of 70 years Nancy Birgel Vanstory, his three children Cindy Davidson (Rick) of Atlanta, Georgia, Neil Vanstory IV (Susan) of Raleigh, and Norris Vanstory (Ken) of Chapel Hill.
