Lynda Jane Ingram

Richlands, North Carolina

Age 61.
Died 3/5/2023.

Lynda Jane Ingram gained her angel wings on March 5th, 2023. Her last days on earth were spent with family by her side and prayers from her loved ones near and far. Born on February 11, 1962, of Fort Wayne, IN, daughter of Carroll and Roberta Lockwood. Lynda was a graduate of Elmhurst High School, class of 1980. She married Charles “Tony” Ingram on October 17, 1990 and spent the last 33 years by his side. Throughout her 61 years, Lynda touched the hearts of many lives. She went on to serve her community in various ways, from serving in the Air Force, as well as her involvement in her children’s schools and church community. Those who knew Lynda, knew a strong and passionate woman. Her personality shined through all aspects of her life from DIY projects at home to puzzles, Mario games, and love for animals. She held so much love and devotion to her family and friends, and Lynda is a great loss to everyone that knew her. Lynda is survived by: her husband Charles “Tony” Ingram of Richlands, NC; her three children, Sean Ingram of Brooklyn, NY, Kristen (Luis) Diaz of Colorado Springs, CO, and Caitlin (Alexander) Williamson of Louisburg, NC; her step children, Scott (Shannon) Ingram and family of Lakeland FL, Karen (Mark) Jackson and family of Lakeland, FL, and Brian Ingram of Cincinnati OH; her only grandchild, Sienna Jane Diaz. In addition, Lynda is survived by: a brother, Scott Lockwood of Fort Wayne IN; two sisters, Nancy Walters and Carol Hawthorne both of Fort Wayne, IN. She was predeceased by both parents, Carroll and Roberta Lockwood. Lynda has entered through the gates of heaven and will watch over those she loved.
