Obituary
Leo Biggie Jr.

Benson, North Carolina

Age 72.
Died 4/11/2025.

Leo “Michael” Biggie Jr passed away peacefully at the age of 72 at UNC Johnston Health on April 11, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1952 to Clara and Leo Biggie. He was the first born of nine children. Michael grew up working alongside his father and brothers as a brick mason and stone mason. Michael then went on to have a business of his own as a handyman, although he was known as more than a handyman due to his ability to fix, repair or build anything that was asked of him. Michael was also a strong man of faith and a dedicated member of The Stone NC church. He lived a life of servitude both inside and outside of the church. He was always one phone call away no matter the time. Michael was a family man and took his role as a father, father-in-law and grandfather seriously. He was always there for his family in anyway they needed, whether it was a shoulder to lean on, a teacher, or a play date. Michael was proceeded in death by his mother, Clara Biggie and brother Tony Biggie. Michael leaves behind daughter Ashley Biggie-Rodriguez, son-in-law Pedro Rodriguez, granddaughters Paula, Layla and Lily Rodriguez. Father Leo Biggie, Brother Robin Biggie. Brother Dale Biggie. Brother Craig Biggie and wife Tina. Brother Guy Biggie and wife Georgia, (children Guy “Scooter” Biggie, and Autumn). Sister Victoria Biggie with sons, Jeramy Biggie (wife Natalie, children: Jameson and Evangeline), and David Bowden (son: Jacob) and daughter Kristy Sammartino (husband: Tony and children: Mariah, Benjamin, Sarah, Ethan). Sister Reba Adams and husband Fred Adams with children Michael and Melissa Barnette. Sister Brigette Biggie (children: Abigail (husband Jason), Samuel, Tabitha (Emmanuel), Rebekah (husband Brandon). Nephew “Little” Tony Biggie. He also leaves behind the many friends that felt more like family. A celebration of life will be held on May 3rd at Encounter Church at 11am. Address 4300 Garrett Rd Durham, NC 27707. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe linked below. The donations will go towards his final expenses. Thank you for your continued support and prayers. Daddy, I will take your mantle and run with it. I love you forever and always. Miss. Priss https://gofund.me/06bda534
