Leatrice Siegel

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Leatrice Sadie Siegel on November 19, 2024, at the age of 82. She spent her final days at Transitions Hospice, surrounded by the love of her devoted family and friends. Born on November 29, 1941, Lee was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and, until the last few years, reading. Her warmth and thoughtfulness brought comfort and happiness to everyone who knew her. Lee shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Alan Siegel, who survives her. She is also lovingly remembered by her children, Mitchell Siegel (and his wife, Mindy Palleija) and Marnie Siegel (and her partner, Angela Washington); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Cristina, and Benjamin; and her great-granddaughter, Alaya. Her home was a welcoming place filled with laughter, love, and countless memories, a reflection of her generous and caring spirit. Lee faced her battle with dementia with courage and grace, leaving a legacy of strength and resilience. In her honor, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting the fight against dementia and helping others who face similar challenges. At this time, no celebration of life has been scheduled. Leatrice Siegel will be remembered as a woman of grace, resilience, and boundless love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
