Larry Marlin Moser

July 13, 1937 – May 11, 2022, Larry Marlin Moser, of Cary, NC, was 84 when he passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family. Larry was born in Tarentum, PA in 1937 to the late Oakley and Marie Dubois Moser. He came from a large family with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Larry met his late wife Brenda (Hollick) in 1958 at the hometown Fourth of July Parade. They never missed a single day together before being married in March of 1959. They had 3 children, Jeffrey, Lisa and Tammy. Larry and Brenda lived in Pittsburgh for 70 years before moving to North Carolina in 2009. Larry was first and foremost a dedicated husband and father. He is grandfather to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren with two more on the way. Larry started his career working at Allegheny Ludlum Steel while also attending Pittsburgh University to obtain his BS. He worked as a Purchasing Agent and then a Senior Technical Buyer until he retired. Outside of work he and Brenda enjoyed skiing, boating and biking around North Park. Larry also enjoyed golfing, fishing, horse racing and musicals. He was a sports fan and attended every Penguins hockey game he could. Larry is survived by his son, Jeffrey Moser and his daughters, Lisa Thoma and Tammy Havener; his grandchildren April, Tara, Brittani, Brianna, Paige and Grant; his great grandchildren Laila, Josiah, Gianna, Ava, Stella and Hayden.
