Obituary
Jorge Santiago Patricio

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 46.
Died 4/17/2025.

Jorge Santiago, born January 15, 1979, passed away peacefully in UNC Rex Hospital with his parents, younger brother, and children by his side. He died on April 17, 2025, at the age of 46. He fought strong and hard for some time until finally, God decided it was time for him to go back home. He was a man who would always strive to aim high. Without a doubt, he was the best father, brother, son, uncle, and friend anyone could ask for. His kindness and wisdom shaped his two sons. But his leadership and strength shaped his two daughters. He was survived by his oldest son, Jesus Noe, second oldest child, Dulce Crystal, third oldest, Jorge Jr, and lastly his baby girl Camila Elizabeth. Behind he left them the gifts of a lifetime. His knowledge, traditions, love, and life lessons. Jorge loved eating lots of food even though he was quite small. His favorite were the tacos from Mexico City where he grew up. He was a good dancer but a horrible singer. His dancing made up for it though. He had great 'shoe game' as his kids and nephews would say. He was a dialysis patient for 18 years. Yet that never stopped him from living like there was no tomorrow. "Dad, forever is a long time. I hope to meet again when it's my time to go. For now, keep an eye out for me and watch me become successful." - Jorge Jr "Father, I am a Santiago and your oldest daughter. Which makes this goodbye the hardest because you told me not to cry when you're gone. But I can't help it, I'm a daddy's girl. I will make money and travel and try all the food you wanted to try, always carrying you in my heart. Hopefully, God will let us reunite someday for now, farewell and sleep tight." -Dulce Crystal. "I'm going to miss you daddy. I hope you are in less pain now and that you are finally running again." Camila Elizabeth "I'll keep them strong and healthy. They will grow to be the best. And I will not disappoint you. Until I see you again dad." - Jesus Noe
