John David Archibeque

John David Archibeque passed away on July 22, 2022 from a brief but serious illness. He was surrounded by family and good friends. John was born October 13, 1972 in Harnett Co. North Carolina. He was a proud graduate and avid supporter of NC State University. He had many meaningful jobs and was last employed by Abacai to work for the USPS. John is survived by his wife, Samantha Tripp Archibeque of Fuquay-Varina; his brother Michael and wife Reena of Ohio; His niece Janette Robben of Kentucky; his Father and mother-in-law, Joe and Barbara Tripp of Raleigh, NC; his sisters-in-law Alice Tripp (Arthur Bateman) of Raleigh, NC; and Alexandra Browning,(Kristofer, and their son Laird) of Spanaway, WA. He is also survived by his best friends, Garrett Gilley, Sanjay, Work Dave, adopted Mom Barbara Gilley and many other wonderful friends held onto from his past and current activities. John also had two cats, Sarah and Gabe, who he loved dearly. John loved to play billiards and card games, build with LEGOS and was always quick with a witty response. He was a true and devoted husband, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers, John would have been honored if donations were made in his memory to the Fuquay Varina Police Department to their Special Olympic Fund. A celebration for John’s life will be held at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church on Friday August 19, 2022 at 6:00PM.
