The family then moved to Bethesda, MD where he and his seven siblings spent most of their childhood. He attended Little Flower School, Western Junior High, and Walt Whitman High School. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends alike. He is survived by his children, Alison and Jamie Boegel, former wife, Laurie Boegel; five siblings, Mary Smith (Albert), William Boegel (Diane), Catherine Boegel (Richard), Robert Boegel, and Julia Ashbrook (John); his 8 nieces and nephews, Danny Smith, Maureen Siburt (Scott), Patrick Smith, Jessica Brown (Brooks), Dana Alba (Matthew), Riley Roth (Warren), Erik Juliusson, and Andrew Juliusson; and 10 great nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank all of our friends and family for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
