Gail Rae Waldecker

Gail Rae Waldecker, age 71, passed away on June 12, 2024 in Lillington, North Carolina. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was deeply grounded in her faith as a follower of Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 50 years, Paul. Her humor will forever be cherished by all who knew her. She possessed a heart of compassion and always extended help to those in need. She was preceded in death by her father, Rayburn Cecil Alexander, her mother, Agnes Josephine Alexander, her sister, Jackie Eaton, and her sister, Toni Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Paul Waldecker, her daughter, Kelly (Danny) Nahra and her granddaughters, Suzanne (Brandon) Morse and Selena Nahra (Kraig GIbson) . She is survived by her brother, Butch (Barbara)) Parker. Dearest aunt of Tina Eaton, Danielle Pilchak and Billy (William)Parker. A private celebration of life will be held on June 21st, 2024 which would’ve been her 72nd birthday. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer on four separate occasions, which ultimately led to her passing. To honor her memory, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society. She hoped to one day help those fighting cancer. To our wife, mother, and nana, Although we will miss you here on earth. We rest at ease knowing you are in the arms of God and reunited with your family. Until we meet again, we love you more than you will ever know.
