Donnie Sweat

Donnie Sweat, age 46, of Broadway passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born in Lee County on April 9, 1975 to Vickie Dean and Danny Sweat. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Elsie Hilliard. Donnie is survived by his beautiful daughters Leranda, Tytiana, Tiffany, and Trinity. Siblings Rebecca Johnson, Justin Sweat, and Tameron Sweat; his nephew Marquise Dalrymple; and grandson Leland Hunt. Step-parents Ron Dean and Wanda Sweat. Donnie was a stubborn as they come, but he was also loyal, generous, protective, and loving. He had an immense talent for drawing and an eye for art. He was known for brilliant work as a tattoo artist. His love for animals and especially for reptiles was a lifelong passion. On any given football Sunday you would find this ‘Cheesehead’ rooting for Green Bay.
