Obituary
Dewayne Shelton Todd

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 54.
Died 12/25/2024.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dewayne Shelton Todd, beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us way too soon on December 25, 2024. He was 54 years old. Dewayne passed peacefully with his sons by his side, who were his greatest joy and pride. Born on August 1, 1970 in Asheboro, North Carolina, Dewayne was the son of the late Shelton Earl Todd and Louise Hughes Todd of Thomasville. Dewayne was a devoted husband to his wife, Cindy Taylor Todd and an incredibly loving father to his sons, Dakota Todd and Sterling Taylor. His family was always his greatest priority, and he gave them his whole heart, dedicating his life to their happiness and well-being. Through his unwavering love, guidance, and constant support, he shaped and nurtured those closest to him. Dewayne was known for his strong work ethic, but more importantly, for his kindness, warmth, and loyalty. He was a man who believed in the importance of family bonds and always put others first. His laughter, generosity, and dedication to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him. Dewayne had a passion for fishing and snowboarding. He was always eager to lend a hand to those in need. Whether it was doting on his kids, or simply offering a listening ear, he had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Dewayne is survived by his wife, Cindy Todd, his children, Dakota Todd and Sterling Taylor (wife Crystal) whom he adored and his beloved mother, Louise Todd. He also has a wide circle of family and friends who loved him dearly. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy of love he leaves behind. A memorial service will be held for close family and friends, date and location to be announced. Check back for details. May he rest in peace.
