Darrell Wayne Pearce

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 58.
Died 6/12/2025.

Darrell Wayne Pearce, 58, of Raleigh, NC passed away June 12th after a short battle with cancer. Darrell spent his career working with many towing companies, which included Dean's Towing and Alan's Towing of Raleigh, NC. He loved the business and made many friends along the way. He was a huge NASCAR fan and attended many of the races. Darrell is survived by his daughter, Erika Pearce of Sarsota, FL; son Logan Pearce of Saratoga, WY, and step-son Dylan Massey of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his sisters Joyce Pearce (Wayne) of Castalia, NC; Brenda Salisbury (Ted) of Cary, NC; Marsha Perry (Jessie) of Bunn, NC. He is survived by his step-brothers Larry Carter (Bea) of Youngsville, NC; Danny Carter (Cathy) of Youngsville, NC, and David Carter (Marilyn) of Benson, NC. Always by his side was his beloved dog, Bailey. Darrell is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his good friends, Janice Jones of Spring Hope, NC; Mark Hanshai of Raleigh, NC, and Mark Williams of Raleigh, NC. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Lorraine Pearce of Youngsville, NC; his mother, Minnie Pearce of Wake Forest, NC; his grandmother, Mattie Pearce of Youngsville, NC; his sisters Judy Ray of Wake Forest, NC and Mattie Bean of Youngsville, NC; and his brother, Steve Pearce of Louisburg, NC. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter or your favorite charity in Darrell's memory. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th at 11am at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Youngsville, NC officiated by Kenneth Pearce. A reception will follow immediately after in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcomed to join the family.
