Courtney was the daughter of Cary and Julie (Tonello) Whitmore of East Bridgewater, MA, sister of Leah Judge and her husband, David Judge of East Bridgewater, MA, and their children, Courtney's niece and nephews, David, Audrey, and Patrick Judge. She was the sister of Kate Whitmore of East Bridgewater, MA, and granddaughter of Leonard Whitmore of West Bridgewater, MA. Courtney was a daughter-in-law to Elwood and Sherry Davis of Wendell, NC and Jerry and Sharon Jensen of Wake Forest, NC. Courtney was a special niece and cousin to many. Granddaughter of the late Vincent and Ann Tonello of Whitman, MA and the late Norma Whitmore of West Bridgewater, MA. Courtney also had many friends from all over that she loved and cherished dearly. Courtney graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, MA in 2013. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Genetics with a minor in psychology at North Carolina State University in 2017. Courtney went further by completing her Master of Science in genetic counseling from The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2019. Courtney was a very active member in Kappa Delta Sorority throughout her undergraduate experience at NC State. She made lifelong friendships throughout her time in Kappa Delta and cherished her time living in the sorority house. Courtney started her career at Rhode Island Hospital where she specialized in pediatric genetic counseling. She then moved to Duke Health Children's Health Center where she also focused on pediatric genetics, she called this her dream job. She enjoyed spending her time watching football and Formula One racing with her husband. Her favorite thing to do in the world was tailgating a NC State Wolfpack game with her friends. She was a very dedicated Patriots fan and an even more dedicated North Carolina State football fan. Courtney's favorite place was Lake Winnipesaukee where she grew up each summer, spending much time with family and friends. She loved being on the Lake, watching sunsets, and enjoying time in her family's boat. Courtney was dedicated to making someone else's battle with rare disease easier than hers was. She lived this everyday whether it be in her career or through her volunteer work with the Loeys-Dietz and Marfan foundation. Courtney always did everything she could to make a difference and help others. Despite her own lifelong fight with rare disease, Courtney lived every part of her life to the fullest.
