Obituary
Conswella "Connie" Clemens

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 61.
Died 11/10/2025.

Celebrating the Life of Conswella “Connie” A. Clemens On November 10, 2025, the world lost a truly gentle soul. Conswella A. Clemens—known to all as Connie— lived her life with an open heart and a deep love for both people and animals. Her laughter could brighten any room, and her kindness left an imprint on everyone she met. Connie built a life centered on care and compassion. Through her beloved business, Cuddly Claws & Paws, she turned her passion for animals into a calling, treating every pet as if it were her own. Her five cherished cats, Teddy, Oscar, Felix, Gigi, and Bella—were her constant companions and a source of endless joy. She shared 35 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Craig, whom she married on February 4, 1990. Their bond was one of devotion and partnership—a love story that inspired those around them. Connie also treasured her family deeply, including: - Father-in-law: Carl Clemens, Jr. (Georgia) - Siblings: Brian Tague (Kerry), Gary Browning, Ava Hall - Sisters-in-law: Carla Durina (Patrick), Rose DeNunzio (Rebecca), Michelle Crane (Duff) - Brothers-in-law: Carl Clemens III (Michele), Butch DeNunzio, Kirt Clemens (Diana) - Nieces & Nephews: Lindsey Griffin (Adam), Keri Durina, Anna Tague, Kylie Clemens, Kiera Clemens, Aaliyah DeNunzio, Abby Denunzio, Kameron Clemens, Jonathan Crane, Mark Crane - Great-niece & nephew: Gwendolyn and Benjamin Griffin Connie was blessed with a circle of friends who were more like family. They stood by her through life’s joys and challenges, sharing laughter, love, and countless memories that will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Steve and Kenneth Tague, her mother-in-law Carol DeNunzio, and her stepson Christopher Clemens. Yet her memory lives in the hearts of countless friends and family members who were touched by her warmth, humor, and unwavering generosity. Connie leaves behind not just loved ones, but a legacy of kindness a reminder that life is best lived with love at its center. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal rescue or shelter in her honor, continuing her lifelong mission of caring for those without a voice.
