Obituary
Connie Louise Bradshaw

Cary, North Carolina

Age 67.
Died 12/14/2022.

Connie Bradshaw, 67, of Cary, NC passed away peacefully in her home on December 14, 2022 with family at her side after a three-year fight with cancer. Connie is survived by her children Zachary Bradshaw, Tyler Bradshaw; grandchild Connor Maxwell Williamson; siblings Adele (Gerald) Bessette, Cynthia Cusack, Robin Pettey, Roy Chambers, Douglas (Bettye) Chambers; partner Dan Williams, his children James (Erin) Williams, Katie (Adam) Tosh, grandchildren Margaret Williams, Anna Tosh, Emily Tosh; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Connie was born December 11, 1955, in Dobbs Ferry, NY to Roy and Evelyn Chambers. She grew up in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY, graduated from Hasting High School in 1973 and worked in the insurance and banking industry. Connie raised her children in Charlotte, NC and then Cary, NC where she had lived since 1995. Connie enjoyed gatherings with friends, sitting on the back deck soaking in the warm sun, a good book and an occasional brandy alexander. She was strong willed and held firmly to her convictions. As a breast cancer survivor, Connie was an avid supporter of Komen Race for the Cure. Favorite places for Connie over the years were Lake Gaston, NC; Telluride, CO; Blowing Rock, NC; Aruba; New York; and of course, Paris. Most of all Connie loved time spent with family and they loved time with her. Those who wish to join the family for a celebration of a life well lived are invited to The Matthews House, 317 W Chatham St, Cary, NC 27511 for a memorial service Thursday, December 29 at 2:30PM with a visitation beginning at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Connie’s memory can made to The American Cancer Society.
