Obituary
Claudette Warren

Raleigh, North Carolina

Age 72.
Died 11/6/2023.

Claudette Kay (Stevens) Warren January 14, 1951 - November 6, 2023 Raleigh, North Carolina – Claudette Kay Warren, 72, entered into God's Presence on Monday, November 6, 2023 at home. Claudette was born in Knox County to the late Omer and Irene Stevens. She was a follower of Jesus, a devoted wife of 54 years, a daughter's best friend, & the world's greatest Mam-ma! She devoted her life to faith, family, & friendships. She will be remembered for unwavering love and dedication to her husband, family and friends, as well as many people she met along the way. She was a student of the Word of God and regularly led others in that passion. She faithfully prayed for those around her and was her Son-in-law's biggest encourager, as a preacher. She was a precious gift from God to all who called her friend. She was an avid traveler, she had to be to keep in touch with friendships stretching back to Gibbs High and swing-sets even earlier. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Richard Glenn Warren; daughter Mitzi Rave and husband, Billy of Wilson's Mills; grandchildren, Cameron Rave and wife Cloey, Kaylen Rave, Kaiyah Rave, and Jaxon Rave; and brother Ronald Stevens and wife Liz; and sister in-law Frankie Stevens; as well as many beloved nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Claudette was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Stevens. Claudette surely entered into a “Well Done!” in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by loved ones. She fought long, she loved well, & now she is home. Won't you make plans to meet her in glory? A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to PanCan.com or With Love From Jesus. Arrangements are by City of Oaks Funeral Home & Cremations of Raleigh.
