An Immediate Burial is when the body is taken directly from the place of death (or from the morgue) to the cemetery. Normally, the body stops at the funeral home just long enough to secure the death certificate and burial permit – and for the family to buy the cemetery plot, if needed. The body is then transported to the cemetery where it will be buried in a grave or entombed in a mausoleum crypt. With an Immediate Burial there is no funeral ceremony, visitation, grave side service, or embalming. #### The immediate burial package includes: - Basic services of the funeral director and staff - Removal of remains (from within North Carolina) - Dressing and casketing - Local transportation to the cemetery - 20 Gauge Non-Gasketed Steel Casket from our Casket Price List - Three certified death certificates - NC sales tax Although immediate burials do not include any type of formal ceremony, many families choose to hold a memorial service or celebration of life at home or place of worship. This allows the family to gain a sense of closure without incurring additional expenses from the funeral home. If a simple graveside service is desired, City of Oaks can assist at the burial site for a cost f \$660.

The final step of the process reduces the bone to a consistency similar to traditional flame-based cremation. #### The Aquamation service we provide includes the following: - Basic service of funeral director and staff - Transfer of remains - Aquamation fee - Three (3) Certified Death Certificates - Wooden rectangular shaped urn - NC Sales Tax

An example of our simple wooden rectangular shaped urns

If you find any of our services less expensive on a current General Price List provided to you by another licensed funeral home in Wake County, NC, we will match the cost of that item and discount it by an additional 10%.
